And if they grow up, do they become "Indigo Adults"?

Sounds a little pedantic to me

  1. Not really sure what they are.

Okay, I read your link. I agree, that is annoying. What a bunch of bulls***. Kids are coddled way too much. s***w their self-esteem. Every other generation turned out okay.

  2. I am still baffled as to what this is, sounds 60ish or something.

  3. They're not children because they're not humans. They're little pieces of ****.

  4. Oh, yeah I do.

  5. Not nearly as annoying as their parents.

  6. So Indigo Children are kids whose parents let them do whatever they want, and praise them for doing that whatever, whatever it may be?

I would most likely punt the children off bridges (Jack Black style from the Anchorman) and then drop kick the parents.

Seriously, raise them responsibly, or don't have them.

(Sorry dudes, parents who take zero interest in their childrens upbringing, and then have to audacity to defend themselves for it are one of my MAJOR pet peeves.)

  7. Wait, I have lupus, does that mean I have an aura?  Cool beans!  =]

    ((Shinn))

Never heard of them till now.  Just on reading your link, they sound annoying.  They sound like the Athenians always looking for the new thing.

  8. "My child isn't obnoxious, self-absorbed, unmannerly and unlikeable because I've raised him or her with zero discipline, given him or her a trophy for just showing up and allowed him or her to run ramshod over his parents and everyone else s/he encounters rather than damage his or her precious self esteem...no...s/he's obnoxious, self-absorbed, unmannerly and unlikeable because s/he's here to save the world!

  9. OK, I even clicked your link and read it and still have no clue what they are talking about, or about what an "Indigo child" is?????!  And, I have two teenagers and a pre-teen~never heard of them, maybe glad I am?? I've heard of Emo and they're d**n annoying!

  10. Boy howdy.

    But think about it: Parents who want their kids to be "Indigo Children" 1.) want their kids to be somehow special, particularly if no one has to work for it;

2.) don't have the critical thinking skills or inclination to research enough to find out it's all c**p.

    That group includes almost everybody.

  11. heh, they just want to feel special, and that's how someone told them that they are special.

  12. Oh jeeze, if i ever end up around one of them i'll end up trying to kill them!

  13. They're only annoying when they seem to think it makes them 'better' than others, or (in one instance with someone) thoroughly insane.  It's the worst if they're both insane with a superiority complex.

  14. Just another excuse not to do the hardest job in the world, be a good, responsible parent.
