Do you find public displays of affection annoying?

I know I do. Now, if me and my girlfriend do a quick kiss or hold hands or put arms around each others backs, that's one thing. But I don't go as far as to make out or stand still somewhere while people are walking and me and her hug and kiss right there. I don't do that. I will even go as far as to admit that when I see lovey dovey couples like that, I scoff and roll my eyes. I also don't like it when I see someone leaning his/her head against someone in public or when someone gets all huggy in public. It's almost like I should say "GET A ROOM!".

  1. yep, i totally agree w/ you

  2. A smooch or a hug, that's OK.

If you are jamming your tongue down her throat so far it pops out of her belly button, get a room.

  3. Public Displays of Affection may be annoying to some of you, but do you roll  your eyes at a soldier who is hugging and kissing his wife after being going at war on tour of duty for a year? Do you roll your eyes at a firefighter who come back to his wife safely every day after a shift and kisses and Hughes his wife in the front yard? I enjoy showing affection to my wife after a long shift, and yes I am a Firefighter/EMT-Basic, my Father was a Soldier, my Grandfather was a Soldier. So with the question you asked is it annoying, the answer is NO!

  4. I find it worse than annoying; it is very offensive & disgusting to me and I can't imagine the impact it has on very young children.

  5. I agree...quick kisses or hand holding is one thing but anything more intense should be left to the privacy of one's home

  6. Yes its dreadful.

when i have a boyfriend I can't kiss in public I think its disrespectful

    And gross and its uncomfortable.

Holding hands is fine but all that other stuff should be for you and your love by your self you know?

  7. i agree for the most part i hate it when i hang out with my friend and her bf and all they do is kiss and talk all lovey dovey makes me wanna puke i feel so nonexixtent to and its so rude

  8. i hate p.d.a. and im kinda umcomfortable with me and my girlfriend holding hands or put our arms around eachother in public because i hate when people stare and my friends hate it. i think people should just have friend time with friends and makeout time with girlfriends and if they are all together wait for the making out till ur in private

  9. i agree 100000000%

  10. I think holding hands, hugging, a little smooching is fine. But full on making out or standing there for an hour all over each other is gross. I hate when I see people do this. It makes me not think they're in love, but like they can't afford a hotel room. It's tacky as h**l.

  11. Yeah I find myself so embarrassed.

  12. I'm not keen on people being all lovey dovey in public.  I don't mind holding hands, arms around each other, peck on the cheek etc, but kissing, fondling and all that - they should wait until they get home.

We were on holiday recently and there was this couple in the pool doing all that - I couldn't say 'get a room' because they already had one, but I felt like saying 'why don't you bog off to your room' ;oD

  13. If I wanted to see it, I'd ask, right? Save your sweet nothings for alone time. A peck or holding hadns is fine, anything else is disturbing because you're bound to p**s off at leats one person in public, ie: not everyone will think about your pda the way YOU do. So respect everyone else!

  14. I find anything that is "This is my boyfriend/girlfriend, I OWN them" annoying.  So therefore PDAs just annoy me.  I always tell boyfriends that I am not their possession so when we're in public we should act like the adults we are and not be hanging all over each other.  That's my personal feelings.

  15. yes. holding hands is fine, I think it's even sweet. You should see our country, I'm only 16 and I see a lot of gross stuff around here.=(

  16. I think it's very appropriate for people to be climbing all over each other or to be attempting to take each other's tonsils out with their tongues in public. Nobody really needs to see this since such passionate expressions are best enjoyed in private.  These dunderheads should indeed get a room.

  17. Don't got to the czech republic.  To get them back with weirdness just get close and stare, then to top it off f**t.

  18. totally agree. if they can go as far as doing that in public, imagine how far they would go when not in public.

  19. I agree, its digusting to see that. Last year in High School there were 2 L*****n Chicks always making out and grabbing each other in the Hallway. It was very disturbing

  20. people have the right to show there love to one another but if there standing in the way thats just rude. but if htey arent in hte way you shouldnt be staring just keep walking no big deal.
