Do you find "the small world experiment" really interesting?

I seen on the news just now that a big survey has confirmed the theory of "The six degrees of seperation" is true. The small world experiment was carried out and it found that if you choose two random people from aywhere in the world, you will only have to link them through an average of 5.5 people to find them. For example, if you chose a man in ireland and a man in australia, the irish man would know a man, who knows a man, who knows a man, who knows a man, who knows a man, who knows the australian man.   3. well you would have to know the life history of everyone and you would need to know everyones friends so bit silly really... we already know its a small world thats why you always bump into that annoying bloke u hate in the lifts at work LOL
