I'm writing a paper on this subject. Also doing sorta a semi '' hands on '' experiment regarding the subject.

  1. Can't get any more hands-on than this:  Get yourself a puppy and an elderly person.  Discipline and punish them both.  Publish your paper and present it to a criminal judge.  If your paper is well written, you may get a more lenient prison sentence.  Sadly enough, I bet you will get in more trouble for what you do to the dog.

  2. Are you for real???

  3. I really hope you are not punishing the elderly by rubbing their faces in it when they poo themselves!

  4. I find it hard to believe you are writing an educational paper on this. With pets, it's always a bad owner/trainer, not the actions of the pet. Discipline is negative, it must be positive reinforcement.

But the elderly????Punish and discipline. I would say that borders on abuse. The elderly deserve respect and the preservation of their dignity and quality of life. In what situation would one ever think they had the right to "punish or discipline"?

  5. you forgot children

    and parents and thier parents

  6. Though discipline is beneficial for all creatures, punishment is never constructive. Why would anyone advocate punishing the elderly instead of reasoning with them? If you are indeed writing a paper you should perhaps challenge the subject itself.
