  1. Yes I do i think all the events are towards the chineese favor, we can all admit they are good but there are cases were its clear lts not chinas day. But the judges do it very discretely. But we know in our hearts our own brothers and sisters desrved to win! Even if others want to take that away from us.

Heres for a win for Shawn Johnson!

  2. Um, actually idiot, the German girl won, the old one, she won gold...

  3. dspawadjie, how do you know the guy asking this question is American.

Freaking judgmental good or nothing foreigners.

  4. Its a valid question. We were just watching men's diving and while the Chinese diver wqas good, the Canadian diver was very good but never got a single 10 while the Chinese diver (He Chong) got 3 10s on a not so good dive when the comentator clearly pointed out his mistakes. Chona has more gold medals than they got in the last Olympics and we are barely half way.

Yeah the Chinese womens??? gymants are 16? Give me a d**n break. They lok like they should be in elementary schools. What an unfair advantage. China has always been a nation to bend the rules and who knows what influence they have had on the "judges"?

  5. Yes, but on the other hand, the judges are typically biased towards whichever country is hosting the Olympics. The 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics come to mind for when this has worked in America's favor.

  6. No, stop whinging about it you lost China won. Get over it

  7. no, the judges are fair. calm down dude, we get you.

  8. Uh, actually tannisma..., before you call someone else an idiot, you should not make idiotic statements at the same time.  The German girl, the old one, she actually got the silver.

And yes Alicia Sacromone was ripped off.  Either there is Bias by the judges or the the rules of judging are screwed up!  You should not be able to land on your hands and knees and still win a bronze medal, unless everyone else competing does the same.

  9. http://tvchannels2pc.com

    I dnt think so!!!

  10. feel were you coming from but you have to understand there are difficult scores so if someone is doing a routine in which their difficult is high and they score a little lower than someone who did an easier exercise and score a little higher it might go to the person who does the more difficult routine. Alicia routine was good and minor stuff on the landing but her difficult score was much less than Chang who did mess up on her last vault but her two score edge alicia out because her routine were harder.

I think to correct this is that each person have to do a routine that is easy , then medium and then hard and you grade each one on each.

  11. I didn't get to see that.  I beleive the judging itself got tougher.  I didn't watch it before, but from what I saw, that was some hard judging out there.  And biased....maybe, but definatly not what I beleived some deserved.

  12. Ummm No.. China is extremely Fair and don't Pay any attention to the Chinese Official holding the gun to the back of my head as I am typing this...:-X

  13. yes...the entire compliment of the worlds judges from every country competing in the Olympics are completely biased against the US and all for the Chinese...I can see now just looking at it how logical that seems...why didn't I see it before?

  14. of course they are, you'd have to be freaking blind not to see that.

We are competing on commie country though.

  15. most definately...these judges are dirtier than my week old underwear

  16. The judges arent ONLY Chinese.

    Their from diff, countries.

  17. the gymnastics judges seem to be extremely biased. For those who are saying were idiots have you been watching the olympics lately??? They give a bronze to a 13 year old chinese girl who screws up her mount and falls flat on her knees. She gets a 15!!!! And Alicia gets a 15.3 for a hop. Hmmmmmmm what a surprise. It's not just this event either it seems that their is a pattern with all the gymnastics.   How come when sacramonie fell on her back she didn't get a 15. Or when she fell off the balance beam and nails the rest of her routine??? Open your eyes people!!!! The announcers, athletes, and coaches are in disbelief it's not just the people on yahoo answers.....

  18. alicia was robbed by the biased judges

  19. The judging on the vault was more than ridiculous. If an American did the same vault and landed on her knees she would get multiple points off for that.

  20. AMEN

the Chiness have paid someone off fo' sho'!

  21. I think the judging was terrible and I do believe it is biased. It is getting ridiculous.

  22. go alicia sacromone!

  23. Not so much. I think the Chinese have performed amazingly for the most part. Synchronized diving and gymnastics come to mind. The US gymnast, Alicia Sacramone was ripped off though!

  24. Its either cheating by china bribing judges or judges hating America. You can talk about starting value or the fact the judges aren't qualified all day but it makes no sense. The American gymnasts were docked for more mistakes they didn't make and the china gymnast were not docked for all the mistakes they made. So it cant be the start value if they are both the same and it can't be the inexperience of the judges because then it would be consistent either they would dock more points or less points to all the countries incorrectly instead of consistently docking the Americans for mistakes they didn't make and missing mistakes china did make. This disproves any argument you might have for china getting those gold medals in women’s gymnastics fairly.

  25. Your question said, "judges biased towards the Chinese." Shouldn't it be "biased towards American." Their scores were close, and from what experts said, her starting difficulties were higher than Alicia. There is a new scoring system if you aren't aware.

  26. nobody here seems to understand the scoring system around here since her start was what gave her the the medal over Alicia

  27. please do a little more research before simply being  struck by emotions...

"A new scoring system is being used for the first time in Beijing. It is introduced to promote fairness after what happened at the 2004 Athens Olympics--Paul Hamm of the United States won the individual all-around gold after judges awarded an unfair low score to his South Korean opponent." - see Paige and others explanation on http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...
