its not my fault they freaked out. i'm not that into dolphins or the navy but it sucks that they died. it contributes to gobal warming and  the extinction of polar bears.

I don't think it was the submarine. I expect it was something else like a giant sea monster.

very sad indeed although the royal navy may not be to blame although they were training in the area using sonar (which affects dolphins), they think orcas (killer whales) which are common in our waters may have spooked the pod. Fortinatly 40 of them was saved by rescuers

Yes, I was lucky enough to swim with dolphins while in Jamaica and they are fantastic creatures.

Still the number killed in this incident is a minute fraction of what the Japanese slaughter on an annual basis!

The news story itself is really sad but the photo on Yahoo news of the dead Dolphins is so upsetting.  Do we really need to see this picture?  I am changing my home page until it is gone!

its so sad, I love dolphins and when i read this it really put a downer on me.....Poor things...I'm glad other people feel the same

It is so tragic. I didn't know it was due to a military training submarine. What a waste of life.
