Its not really offensive because we know when she gave birth to Christ she was a Virgin but later on had children with Joseph so she wasn't a virgin after...so it really depends what sort of situation you are referring to.

i dont get caught up on dumb stuff like that. i guess it would be offensive because religious people see her as the woman who never had s*x but had a kid. dont make sense to me....

Nope. I wasn't there and can't attest to the fact that she was. Not being cynical, but I always question things if I wasn't there to see it or experience it.

Well it's not offensive to ME. Truly she "is" a virgin, because an angel told her that she was with child when that should have been impossible considering the circumstances...right? i think that's how it goes.
