  1. A resounding Yes.....i managed a year once it was amazing....Everyone should try it.

  2. Yeah, it seems there's no such thing as good news any more...the news is SO depressing now...

  3. yes i an sick of watching the news. it makes life all doom and gloom.

  4. no, I get frustrated if I don't know what is going on.

  5. yeah i do tend to go around in my little bubble sometimes, it would be nice if we could have a news programme that not all full of war, murder, environmental issues and every other depressing thing that goes on in this world.

Its like cheer up its not all doom and gloom you know

  6. Everyone's  getting  fed  up  of  the  same  old  right  wing  rubbish.  The  mass  media  is  in  trouble,  they're  all  transfering  to  the  internet.

  7. I do indeed, i try not to read too much news, it depresses me. i have learned many lessons by watching people, I dont need anger in my life, i don't need to be depressed. been there, done that. I pick and choose the news i read. if its something i feel passionate about then i'll read the story. but too much news is not good for the happy in yourself.

  8. Yes! Like if I don't hear about how Russia is bombing georgia, or that somebody got shot. IT's great. Because I feel safe and like the world is  safe/nice place. :]

  9. yeah that is exactly the way I feel. You are much less likely to become depressed, well thats what I've found.

  10. Sorry? what was the question? I was looking at your picture.

  11. Yes it's like when I am on holiday and I don't see any news. It's great.

  12. Yes :)

  13. Yes the news is nothing but doom & gloom.I do my best to avoid it.

  14. Try living in a country where you do not speak the language very well.  It does wonders for your perspective.

You never know what is happening, outside of your immediate environment, even when you watch the news.

Unless you believe everything you are told.

  15. That's for sure.

  16. Yes, we hear too much negative stuff.....it's all out of proportion. There are many more good things happening.

I think the world media talks us into feeling negative.

We don't watch the TV news anymore, or buy the newspaper.

People only knew what was happening in their village once, so all this knowledge has not helped this planet.

  17. Absolutely.  My husband stopped getting our local newspaper because it was full of doom and gloom and focused on the antics of our local council!!!

So much bad news is not good for anyone.

I wish that there was a good news paper.  then we would read something to make us feel happy!!!!!!!! .☺☺☺☺

    lol @ Haz, mismogs!!

  18. I hardly ever watch the news, it's totally depressing and always reporting on bad stuff, never ever anything pleasant. So as not to get depressed, I simply dont watch it. I get all my news education here. lol

  19. The world is a nice place, or most of it and it would be nicer if all the people just left it alone and let it go happily along, instead of always looking for s**t, there must be a million nice things that happened today but none of them sell papers so you did not hear of them.

  20. Yup.

Smiling at people for no reason has the same effect. They ALWAYS smile back.( apart from London and Olney in Bucks and Maentwrog in Wales...mismog feckers)

    EDIT-YAY Mr Aurora..!!!
