Do you forsee the current US "Threat Level" ever dropping?

Right now it is "Elevated", or yellow, which is defined as "Significant risk of terrorist attacks".

The next two lower levels are Guarded and Low, defined as General risk and low risk of terrorist attacks.

So the second question is this: is this risk of terrorist attacks more real or perception generated by the current Bush administration?

  1. Terrorist attacks have been happening since the early 70's. Bush is not generating perception.

  2. No!

You answered your own question with the last paragraph:  "is this risk of terrorist attacks more real or perception generated by the Bush Administration".

9/11 was either a false flag or exploited like a false flag.  The threat level must stay up there to keep us afraid so we go along with the war plans and the gradual dismantling of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The chance of being injured by Arab terrorists is as remote as the chance of being struck by lightning.  That is true even though the ports and borders are not sure.  Arab terrorism exists, and the terrorists hate America.  The hate us because of our foreign policy, not because we are free and prosperous.  The war on terror has been grossly overblown by the corrupt politicians and their propaganda machine, the main stream medial.  The owners of the main stream media profit from war, so they have no interest in feeding us the truth.

Technically, it isn't the Bush administration responsible for the overblown war on terror.  It is criminal elements inside and outside the government.

Now if we decide to not support war with Iran, we may see that threat level go through the roof!

If we want to reduce the threat level, we must use our votes more wisely.  Stop electing CFR members for a start!

  3. McCain  won't talk to our"enemies" until they become Democratic nations. Its just not our job to make the whole world Democratic. Its our job to be a great model for strength, honor and morals. If we are the model, and other countries strive to be like us, that's wonderful. However, nobody is wanting to be like us anymore, they want to get rid of us. The problem is people like McCain. We need diplomacy, honesty and strength. We need people to respect our country, something which hasn't been done in years.

When Obama is President, he will have access to the same military advisors as McWarmonger.

Since Obama listens, and McWarmonger can't hear or remember, I'll take my chances with the younger, more vital guy, instead of the one that is pasty looking and deaf and dumb.

  4. I felt a threat all my life so, no, I don't see any change coming.

I remember hiding in the school basement because Cuba was a threat.
