Do you fun and/or heartfelt ways to say goodbye to a group member of an established group.?

A group member is leaving and I would like to start a tradition for saying goodbye that all the group members can partake in.

thats a great idea only if you can get members to partake in this as some will not

have a party and celebrate. Like a going away party. Go out to a restaurant with ever body in the group!

A suprize roast.  

Kidnap them one night, take them out to a favorite hang out, buy them food and drink. Allow everyone in the group to tell/share/remember funny tales about that person....and...

have every person buy a small (set a price limit) gag (or not) gift for a going away.  

Take a group picture, develop it, get a frame for it, and send it to that person at their new address.

Keep it light, fun and flexible...
