  1. yes u will gain better MPG's

  2. yes and i suggest tuning ur computer as well for optium gas sipping b/c that way your car will know how much less it has to work

  3. Less back pressure means a more open exhaust, less strain on engine. More airflow means less strain as well, but more airflow also means what?,,,More dirt passes through too. It depends on a lot of things, like type of vehicle, type of air filter, K&N is good. Air Hog is good as well. Think about where you live and how tough the climate really is. If it is dusty a lot, then leave a standard filter in, thus trapping more dirt, saving your engine life. Opening your exhaust makes you lose bottom end power, but helps you on the long haul. It really helps them at top end, but you lose torque when you hit a small hill or if you try to maintain a high speed for a few seconds. I have modified K&N intake, and a single in dual outlet muffler on my truck, and I have to say that it helped all around. My fuel mileage is around 15-17 miles more overall to a full tank. I think it was a good investment because saving that much fuel will pay for the mods in the long run. I have good bottom end, and good top end. God Bless and good luck. Hope this helps...

  4. I get better MPG.. Not much, though.

  5. i wouldnt say it would make a big difference.probably less than a percent. driving slower, not mashing the gas when you take off, and turning off your vehicle when not driving, keeping up on the proper maintenence is about the only things that will help improve gas mileage or gas consumption

  6. Some people claim they have, others claim no gains at all. I have not tried a K&N air filter but I did go from a restrictive factory exhaust to a free flowing full dual exhaust on a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.9 liter engine and saw no gains at all.

  7. Any time you make it easier for an engine to breath in and out you increase power and mileage.  I have used them and have been happy with them.
