Last week I was playing 2 at once and then all the oldies came out from bingo and I let an oldie have the machine I was playing as I always play 2 at once.

Well she put $1 coin in pressed 20 then 20 got feature and won $25,000 I was gutted and thought agh well not meant to be but WHY WHY did I give her IT.

Man............sux.

Yes, Poker.  

My brothers, cousins, friends and I have been playing since we were old enough to shuffle (longer, we used to just smear the cards all over the floor.)

In fact, as kids we used to play cards to see who had to clean what in our bedroom.  We musta spent an hour playing for every 5 minutes of cleaning!

I love poker tourneys and home games, but the online thing is getting old.  It's just not as entertaining as it used to be now that the novelty's worn off.

I play poker, but my guilty pleasure is slot machines.  I know the house edge is large (unless you seek out a guaranteed payout section of a casino, if they have one.)  But I just enjoy them.  The concept that the next spin could payout a life changing amount of money is just fun.

Sure I could learn basic strategy perfectly, and squeeze out tiny wins here and there from Blackjack.  But you're unlikely to get rich at a table game like that.

Even if the odds are poor, I like having a shot at a nice big prize.

I play a lot of poker in home games, online, and in local casinos.  When I go to Vegas or large casinos I play almost exclusively craps.  Put simply I'm probably not good enough to make money at a Vegas casino.  I'm better than most of my friends, and I do alright in small, local casinos, but being a slightly above average class A baseball player doesn't mean you're ready for the big leagues.  I won't play poker unless I expect to win, and I play craps solely for entertainment.  I often win, but I don't expect to.

And if you're asking my poison in terms of booze, I drink Gentleman Jack Daniel's, straight up, on the rocks.

Blackjack....We recently went on a cruise, it was our first time gambling, and we played a few different games...but we got hooked on the blackjack!
