  1. No and no.

Most employers list on their application that you don't have to mention minor traffic violations.

  2. Simply put NO to both questions.

  3. No, you do not get a criminal record for speeding but it will show up in your driver's records and, perhaps, in your credit report to which your employer may gain access.

  4. No its a motoring offence and only shows on your licence

and of course at dvla but that's it your insurance company needs to know next time you renew your policy and don't lie about it as they now have access to your driving licence details and if you do to keep your premium down you will not be insured in an accident read the small print if your speed was not excessive then you will only get 3 points and a fine and your insurance will only go up a bit

    hope this helps.

  5. No! Speeding is a civil infraction.  If you were speeding so mcuh that it lead to a reckless driving ticket, then, yes, because that is a misdemeanor and even a felony in some states.  I definitley wouldn't worry about it.

  6. Traffic tickets do go on your driving record.  However, they are not considered "criminal" as long as they are infractions.  Examples of infractions are speeding, operating with inoperative equipment, operating without a seat belt, etc.  An example of a violation that is a misdemeanor would be operating a vehicle while intoxicated and would be considered part of one's "criminal" record.  I would not see a reason for you to disclose information regarding a speeding conviction to your employer, unless you are required to possess a valid driver's license to perform your daily work related duties.

  7. It is not a recordable offence in the UK which means you are not photographed and fingerprinted and recorded at CRO.But if an employer asks on a application if you have driving offences then you must declare it or you commit a criminal offence.

  8. I would hope so. Speed kills. You can kill children or even yourself.

  9. Speeding, or any traffic offence, is an infraction. The lowest level of "criminal" activity.

If one does not show up for court a misdemeanor warrant is issued. That will show up in a criminal background check.

  10. I would ask your employer if you should declare minor road traffic offences but as far as I'm aware it doesn't count as a criminal conviction.

When I joined the Police, I had to declare any previous criminal convictions and the form specified that road traffic offences also had to be disclosed.

I disclosed the one speeding fine I had and there was no problem.

  11. no..this is traffic court
