  1. ok if you are just a beginner you probably will not get blisters that often.if you do get one put an alcohol pad on i know it will burn after that put neosporin on it and put one of those round band aids on it also keep your toenails short and use padding good luck ps i dont really think it will bleed if you are a begginer

  2. It doesn't hurt that bad. You do get used to it. I started with lambs wool toepads. Those are effective. But I switched to gel because the lambs wool was to short. You should get many blisters with the right padding. But you will most definitely get callouses. But trust me, it doesn't hurt as bad as it looks.

  3. Everyone says that it is terrible and that your feet will hurt like c**p but really and truly honestly, the only reason I got blisters from pointe is because I went home after my first day and did pointe for three hours. As long as you have good padding, (lambs wool works best for me...) You should be fine. No one in my class has ever gotten really bad blisters. I really wouldnt worry about it. My feet are still pretty and i've been doing pointe for quite a while. The only thing ugly about them is the callouses and I only have two and they're right where my blisters were. I still wear my flip-flops though. I Honestly gotta say, that it really doesn't hurt that bad. Your feet are like, "holy cow, this is a little bit hard! I've never done this before and it's new so I'm a little bit sore!" But Other than that it really isn't that bad. People exadurate WAY too much. I hope this helped!

  4. hey congratulations! well i hope you'll enjoy it!:)

uhmm yeah at first it'll hurt, but once you practice a lot,it will feel like your only doing ballet shoes(sort of:)) )

here are some tips to prevent blisters:

-cut your nails and keep them short since pointe shoes are very tight,so long nails causes the blisters

-wrap each toe with band aid

the callouses part, that really goes to one of the sacrifices you do when doing pointe shoes since the shoes are suppose to be very fit and snug on your feet.but i hope that won't stop you for doing pointes! i love it so much, and i hope you will too:)

  5. They will hurt at first..but then eventually you get use to it. It depends on what kind of toe pads you ues. The less padding the more its going to hurt and the more padding the less its going to hurt. The only time i got alot of blisters was when i was breaking my shoes in, and my feet havent really bleed alot, except for some cuts every once and a while. I have gotten lots of callouses though. But thats good because callouses makes your skin tougher and it will hurt less. something i like to do after a pointe class is too Soak my feet in warm water with some epsom salts to clean them as well help relax the muscles and joints after being on pointe.Cleaning the feet soon after being on pointe helps keep down the risk of developing foot and toe fungus.

Sometimes i apply mositurizers, lotions or balms on my feet so my callouses dont get too bad

to keep from getting ingrown toenails, or other things you should keeps your toe nails trimmed. You should cut straight across. not too short or cut into the sides.

If your toes do bleed..you can buy medicated dance gauze or bandages and wrap that around your feet and then put your toe pads on.

  6. no those are all jsut rumors. you feel dont perfusly bleed if you only take a lass or two a week and your shoes fit correctly. kep our pads and shoes dry and that will prevent slipping and blisters get toes seperators or gell inividuall toe wraps jsut for the toes that mgith bother you. your feet will callouse btu thats jut naturall. yes it will hurt and it will most of your life but the pain lessens everytime you go en pointe.
