  2. no...but you can get a lower tax if the business doesnt do so well..And by the way...who would give you free money if the business will help you and only you?

  3. No, I know of nothing for start up business. There is export assistance from Austrade but you have to already have spent so much on developing export markets the previous year.

    You think the government would do more. Its a pity because starting a small business does not just benefit yourself, contrary to the other posters opinion.

    If the government gives money  to people who are unemployed-and I am not saying they shouldn't- why not businesses? That would actually have a fare greater direct impact on developing the Australian economy.By assisting businesses to start up they would more than make it back eventually through taxation.
