  1. im 76 and get asked all the time

  2. Some friends and my wife and I used to frequent a night club where they always asked the women for ID. Some women found that flattering!

  3. I only had it happen one time. They had a sign over the counter in BIG letters that said. "We ask EVERYONE for ID for ALL transactions." These people were taking NO chances. If they didn't see ID, they didn't touch the cash register.

  4. you must look really young, I wouldn't be complaing

  5. I was asked when I was 45, and then again when I was 50! ... It must have been bad lighting - lol.  Maybe they were checking to see if I were a senior citizen - rofl!

  6. i've heard they're to ask if 40 or younger, hmm

  7. I turned legal just a week ago, and in the 5 times I've bought alcohol since then (either at bars or the liquor store...it was a fun weekend), I was only asked for ID once.  And that was only because there were about 12 of us.  It really pissed me off that I wasn't ID'd on my birthday, actually.  But I guess if you're way over age and they ask you, you should take it as a compliment.  In Ontario, they're supposed to ask for ID if you look under 25, so I guess they think you're in your early 20's!

  8. I work at a wine tasting room out in Sonoma and I always asking women for their IDs, unless they are VERY old like 75 -> almost dead. They love it SOO much and are always flattered. it make the whole tasting more fun. It's kinda like an icebreaker.
