Do you get british tv channels in malta? For example bbc 1?

I was just wondering if you get british tv channels like bbc 1 in Malta.

It really depends in how good the accomodation your staying in is.

Malta was a British colony and is still part of the commonwealth, so most hotels do broadcast british television, so i'd say 95% yes, you'll have bbc.

hope i helped. Ive been to Malta 3 times and the hotels have laways had a good choice of British chanels.

Not so good if you're German... but then the Brits didnt try to bomb Malta off the face of the earth...

If you want to watch British,French,American (and more) channels you got to pay for them.Generally many Maltese,don't pay to watch British channels.

Those who don't pay can watch Italian channels like(Italiauno,canale cinque,rete quattro,rai due ecc) and Maltese channels.

The Maltese channels are:

-TVM

-One

-Net

-Family channel

-Smash

-e22

-ITV

(I hope I haven't missed mentioning other Maltese channels)

Please note,I'm referring for getting british tv channels in house not hotels.

Yes we do get them but only if you pay, for example, install a satellite dish, or become a member of Melita Cable TV or the Go Plus. On our Maltese Channels which we get via the aerial, we don't get the BBC, mostly we get the Italian channels in regards the foreign ones.

When I had the BBC channel, can't remember which, used to love those shows with home makeovers, or Escape to the Country, the ones with the auctions and of course Ready, Steady, Cook.
