Do you get charged sales tax when buying a CityPass?

I am planning on buying the Southern California CityPass from Costco and I am wondering if I still have to pay for the sales tax if I bought it at the store (I live in California). Out of curiosity, I added it to my cart online at Costco.com to see what the total would be and there was no sales tax included in the final price. It would save me the $11 shipping and handling if the same thing goes for purchasing it at the store. Thanks so much!

I doubt it since a CityPass is for admission charges.  However, if sales tax is charged on admission prices in CA, I bet that the sales tax is already included in the price of the CityPass.
