  1. no that service was abolished on 30 June 1999, i was on the ferry the very last night of duty free

  4. No... however interestingly, if you are flying onward from say ireland to america via heathrow, most of the shops at dublin airport will let you buy duty free at duty free prices once they are shown the onward ticket

    However do remember that the security heathrow will take the alcohol as it's obviously a threat to security(!)
