Question:

Do you get fat if you eat too many fruits a day?

i usually eat 2-3 peaches, a plum, and an apple.... is that too much?

  1. for a limited time like a day or two you can get 'fat' if you have too much fruit but guess what the fruit has got lots of fibre in it so that means most of it ends up leaving your body which means you havent gained anything at all - yay to fruit, if you eat apples by eating the pealed off skin first and then the apple you will absorb more fibre which means that more of the food will pass through leaving you lighter than before.


  2. Although they are heathly they do have a lot of sugar in them! you should stick with veggies or mix it up a bit!

  3. Well you can get fat from eating anything really. The key is moderation and good exersise. I would say mix in more vegtables and maybe less fruit even though it does taste alot better then some vegggies and dont forget to exersise and eat a balanced diet as well.

  5. No way, fruit is good for, thats about the right amount of servings of fruit you should have DAILY. Since you are intaking alot of sugar though, try to cut back on sodas, candy, ect. Excerizing wouldnt hurt.

  6. The recommended amount of servings of fruit per day is 2 cups ( 2 servings). Fruit contains a lot of vitamins and minerals the body needs. They contain sugar yes but simple sugar, they are not complex carbohydrates.

  7. yes you can gain weight with fruits but the ones your eatin are not high in sugar as some are, beries dont contain as much sugar ad try granny smith apples they contain less sugar as well as anioxidants so does peaches  plums  pears etc. you can eat those three all in a day and youll be fine

  8. you will only get fat if you eat too much food that you can't burn.  in your case, if you eat excessive quantities of carbs, sweets and fats along with these fruits, you will definitely gain weight!  but these treats alone won't make you fat.

  12. The more fruit the better, I myself have been on an only fruit diet for a year and only weigh 25 stone. I've lost a total of  -7 stone and I'm hoping to reach 30 stone within the next month.

    I think it's important that your apple supplies are well over 30 bags of ten at any one time, as I'm currently finding it hard to leave the house.
