Do you get jealous when your girlfriend goes out with her guy friend? And vice versa for the girls.?

Say your girlfriend has known this guy for a long time before you entered the picture, and she admits that he used to have a crush on her but she thought nothing of him. They're just friends and everything, but am I crazy for being a little jealous if they go out and do stuff alone? She tells me every time and everything, and she spends more than her fair share amount of time with me.. but its annoying that this single guy friend keeps wanting to go out with her and she keeps doing it (happened twice over last 2 months).

Its really no big problem to me right now as I feel I have the rights to spend time with anyone I want, so I should allow her the same treatment.... but I'm curious how you guys/girls react to it if your boy/girlfriend goes out one a friendly day with their old chum of another s*x.

well i know i am a little bit of a jealous person. if i was in your situation i would suggest a double date or something, that way you can be with your girlfriend and him at the same time and you can invite one of your girl friends to come too.

Yes, i feel how you feel right now..

My boyfriend always goes out with this girl and hangs out with her more than he hangs out with me. He posted a video on youtube and they were like hugging and having the best time. Everyone of her friends were like "you should totally ask him out ;]" or "aww you two are too cute together!".

Thats when i started to feel really jealous of that girl. I mean i could hang out with my own guy friends but i didn't want to hurt my boyfriend's feelings? and now hes doing that to me.

Well for your situation i think you should just ignore it and let go of the thought cause shes just hanging out with her friend. Hang out with your own girl-friends! If shes giving you hints that she doesn't want to be with you anymore, she's not so much worth your time.

my boyfriend is also friends with one of my close friends

one time i went to the movies with both of them and my friend said she felt kinda like a third wheel, so my boyfriend wanted to just spend time with her and actually asked me not to come so he could spend some alone time with her

now i get crazy jealous every time they seem to connect, but i have never told any of this to him

well my bf kinda had the same problem with me too.

look, talk to ur girlfriend about it. i had this guy friend and he likes me still. but i only like him as a friend. now its normal to be jealous and its kinda cute. but dun be too jealous.

however, him wanting to ask to go out with her alone is.. well. =s

i wouldnt want my bf to go out with a girl alone either. ur gf should understand how u feel and she should try to go out with him ALONE less. cause then he might try to win her over. you know?

so 1st talk to ur gf and tell her how u feel. if she really cares about you she'd understand and she'd try to go out with him less.

let her tell her friend that it bothers you. even if her friend got mad, she shouldnt put him 1st.

when u talk to her, dun sound mean or mad. talk to her in a really calm voice. and try to tell her sweet stuff.

like tell her, hey baby.. umm. look i need to talk to you about something... and tell her how u feel. then be like im sorry baby its just that i care about you a lot and i dun wanna lose you. and stuff like that.

when my boyfriend spends time with another girl alone i get jealous, i remember i had a boyfriend for 2 years (it was actually about a year ago and I'm still in love with him, but never mind that) he liked my best friend before he liked me, and he used me as a rebound girl and eventually he just fell in love with me i guess, but him and my best friend would hang out and he would tell me what they did and stuff but i still found myself crying.

i guess your just a jealous guy, its okay to be just tell her. get to know the guy more and ask if you could go with one day.

All of my friends are guys and my boyfriend HATES it. I completely understand, but i would never cheat on him and he knows it. I feel bad about hanging out with nothing but guys becauthat'sknow it bothers him, but that's just sort of where I feel like I fit in and its hard for me to make friends with girls for some reason. :/

Well my boyfriend right now doesn't do this, but if he wanted to go out and spend time with a girl friend alone, i wouldn't mind it. I as his girlfriend should have enough trust in him to go out and do what he wants without thinking he's going to cheat on me. It really sounds like you two need to work on the trust issue here, because that really is the number one thing a relationship needs. If she loves you enough she would never ever cheat on you, and you should know that.
