  1. Donating means that you're giving your clothes away as a

    gift.

  2. If you are a teen, then you should know the meaning of the word "donation". If not, Wikipedia says ..."a gift given, typically to a cause or/and for charitable purposes...". And, wow, I really hope you do not believe everything you see on TV.

  3. You are donating out of the kindless of your heart so of course you do not get money!

  4. No because donating does not mean money.

  5. um... well not exactly but that would be really cool :)

    your the bestt!

  6. You Should give WITHOUT expecting... It's the best thing.

On the other hand... Most charities give a Tax Return Receipt For Donations of over a certain amount. Some $20 and above... Depending on the choice of the charity!

  7. You should not expect money back; however many people mention these donations along with their taxes and they actually get deductions....amazing right?

  8. donating = giving without expecting/getting anything in return.

  9. To donate is to give,   To sell is to get money in exchange for something.  So when you donate you don't get money for it.   Charm schoolor no charm school  That kind of thing is fictional.

  10. The whole point of a donation is to donate it.  If you got money for it you would be selling it.  Hello I thought even teens knew that.

  11. Life is not TV.  Donating means giving something away.

However, you could take the value of the clothing (current value, not when you bought them) as a tax deduction next year, providing it's above a certain amount.

  12. No.  Donating means giving without payment.

  13. No, but you get to claim it on next years taxes as a donation. Make sure Good Will gives you the form when you donate.
