  1. In Maine at grocery stores there are machines that take cans and give you money for them.


  2. all the items you mentioned are not worth the effort to take in they get around 1-3 cents per pound if you are lucky,copper,aluminum products will give you the best pay out anywhere from .60 cents per pound(crushed aluminum pop cans) to 5.00 per pound( good clean copper)

  3. It depends on the recycling plant and I would do some research to find out whether if you can get some money or not. I hope this helps.

  4. Usually these items are paid by weight. Whether your local recycling warehouse handles steel will need to be asked. If not, try a junk yard.
