Do you get paid while going through the Mesa Police Academy? How long does the Academy last?

My husband is testing for the Mesa PD in August but I had some questions about the Academy that I didn't see on the website. My husband told me that right now, they are reimbursing for the actual Academy because they need people. But I was also wondering if you get paid while you are going through the Academy and if so - does anyone know how much. I would expect a lower rate than when you actually graduate and get hired for the PD, but I wanted to know about what to expect because we are relocating to Arizona from Kansas.

Any info would be appreciated on the process and finances. Thanks!

YES THEY PAY YOU . AND IT LAST ABOUT 5 MOVIES SEQUELS TO LONG!!!!!????
