Do you get payed on civic holidays? Should I get payed on civic holidays?

You should get PAID according to the tems of the employment contract that you agreed to. If you are paid by the hour or by the day, then I think it unlikely that you will get payment for non-worked days. If you have a permanent job, with a monthly salary, then the occurence of a public holiday normally should have no effect on the amount that you are paid.
