  1. why not . you get pronounced husband and wife .it is practically your day . ask them to say whatever you want

  2. Yes it does. Speak to your priest

  3. Yes, I did....I think, it can also happen anywhere if you really want to...(",)

  4. Yes, but you are officially husband and wife after saying the following pledge infront of the priest:

Expression of Intent: “_____, will you take _____ here present, for your lawful wife/husband according to the rite of our Holy Mother, the Catholic Church?”(“I will”)

Repeat: “I, ______, take you _____, for my wife/husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.”

After this, the coupple is considered husband and wife, even before the exchange of rings and the kiss, and the pronunciation by the priest. This is the same worldwide, including Brittain.

  5. Yes you do get pronounced.  Be sure and talk to your priest about the ceremony though.  At my wedding, the priest did not say "You may kiss the bride" so we didn't get to do that first kiss as a married couple in front of everyone while standing at the altar and I was so disappointed.

  6. Yes you do get pronounced as husband and wife. And are also introduced as the new Mr. and Mrs.....
