  1. I am from mexico

i ' ve never heard about any sharks attacks in mexico

there must obviously be sharks but i don't think they are around the coastlines

    i love mexico

    am now living in london

    i'm 15

mexico has excellent beaches and a big culture

    enjoy!!

what part of mexico are you going?

  2. In the water yes,On land no.

  3. Mexico has beaches right?

Sharks are in the waters of the pacific ocean & Gulf of Mexico

The Gulf between the Baja peninsula and the mainland also has sharks.

  4. There are sharks in all the Worlds Oceans, if you have been in the Sea, chances are you will have been within a few metres of some shark or other, what you have to put into context is of the hundreds of millions of people that go into the sea in a year there is a handful that are killed by a shark, so I would imagine there are lots of sharks in the sea in Mexico, the chances of you even getting attacked by 1 are very very very very slim.

  5. Would of thought so, even get the odd great white off of the north coast of Scotland!

edit. Here I'm reading saturdays sun pg35, commoner I know!  Anyway says 'a fourth swimmer is missing at the Mexican seaside town.'   The town's Zihuantanejo.  Don't want to scare you but maybe worth a read!  Very unlikely you'd be a victim xx

  6. Sharks live in the ocean and if you are on a beach or in the ocean water they are likely to be there.

  7. u may not get them but they sure can get u of the coastal mexico

  8. Yes.  I saw several when diving Cozumel.  They were very keen to get away from the divers.

I dove La Paz a couple years ago; wrong time of year though.  But if I'd been there during the summer, we could have seen Hammerheads.  These sharks, too, are very jumpy.  Have to use a closed circuit rebreather because the bubble noise scares them off.
