  1. Yes, your salary is pro-rated. But remember that you have to give two weeks notice with most employment contracts, otherwise you may forfeit your last paycheck.


  2. No, they only pay you to the date that is your last full day. They would pro-rate on a severance package or if they were Terminating you and pro-rating to the end of the pay period.
