Do you give advice on relationship matters when asked? Is it a wise thing to do?

No, I always tell anyone asking me for relationship advise to consult my wife or else their own partner, most would never ask me in any case, they know I'm not that type of person.

Relationships are not my speciality and I don't enjoy becoming involved in the personal problems of other couples/partners, I like hearing their problems as I am a gossip monger, just not commenting or advising on them.

If I can identify with the problem, I will suggest a few things, but it is up to them to follow it or not.  Usually the person does not really want to hear the truth.  I once had a friend ask me what to do with her boy friend.  I told her to leave him because he was cheating on her (I knew he was because he always bragged about hid boxes). She did not want to hear that.  She married him and a few years later they were divorced again!

No I try to stay as neutral as possible, have seen to many "divorces" that did not happen and then you lose a friend because you told her that you agree with her, her husband is a rotter. I also do not want to feel that I was responsible for a divorce, will never forgive myself if something that I said influenced some one to make that final decision.

sometimes when it's happened to me but if i'm not exactly sure how its gonna turn out than i don't cuz i don't wanna b the one tat she blames when it doesn't work out cuz of the advice I gave.

If someone asks surely they value my opinion. The thing is to not compare their relationship to yours, try to fill their shoes and make no false hopes of your advise being the killer deal.... you dont want to burn at the end of the day. it cant be wrong if you are filling the role of friend or family... and only offer advise if its needed.
