  1. Sometimes. It depends on how they played-did they have a power offense? "Web Gem" defense? Awesome pitching? Or did they just get lucky?

And also, depends on the team they beat.

  2. I usually gloat - playfully - with my Boston fan buddies when the Yankees beat the Red Sox. It's rarely hardcore "In your face! You're a loser!" talk.

  3. Rarely, and then only briefly.

I am an adult. For one team to win, another must lose, and losing brings its own suffering.

  4. I try not to too much because I'm a Cubs fan.  I think you can figure out why I try not to get too cocky.  However when other teams fans sit there and make fun of the Cubs and then get pounded by them (like the Brewers have been getting pounded on this week) it's hard not to gloat a little bit.

  5. I only do it when my team beats their ace or when someone else says they'll lose.  When Joba beat Beckett I shoved that in my friends face.  Then he said Wakefield's knuckleball will make the Yankees look like minor-leaguers, so I shoved that win in his face too.  But I know when to expect a win.  If you tell them that your team will lose they can't come back and brag.  I accept the fact that Ponson and Rasner are sub-par for the Yankees so I never expect them to win, and no one can ever shove that in my face in the end.

  6. sure feels good to have My Angels on top in the majors! suffered through alot of losing since the mid 60s, they practically gave the tickets away back then.

  7. No, not to a fan of another team.

  8. I am happy when my team wins but I may gloat a little but don't get cocky & rude about it.

  9. No.  Gloating devalues the win, I always make it seem like my team beat the '27 Yankees.

  10. No, because glory is fleeting.

  11. i Get happy don't get me Wrong , but i don't get Cocky and arrogant like some people do and i have noticed on here, i learned to just take one game at a time because if you become so happy and become cocky in a blink of an eyes it can all be gone

  12. Only if I'm watching with someone who was cheering for the other team and we were going back and forth through the whole game.  And if it was the World Series.... i have no experience with this since my team hasn't won since 1908... but heck yes I would gloat.

  13. Haha, yes. We don't win enough for me not to enjoy. Reds really need to get their act together...
