  1. never judge a book by its cover, always take the time to see whats on the inside,as you may be pleasently surprised,

  2. first impressions say the most about people!

  3. Everybody wants to say that they give every the benefit of the doubt, that they don't judge people unless they really know them, but that's either a delusion or an outright lie. Humans are judgmental creatures. It's just the way it is. People always, I forget what it's called, use one behavior or trait they see in a person and generalize that this is the whole person. For example, if you're in school and you see someone sleeping in class you most likely will conclude that that person is lazy. You may, when asked what you think of that person, say "He's so lazy!" or "He always falls asleep in class.", even when this is only one behavior of many. When people see another person exhibiting a behavior they view it as a personality trait, rather than something based on environmental factors, like, for instance, that person may have stayed up too late watching television or doing homework or any number of forgivable things. However, people generally see themselves as more complex and their actions as being more forgivable, since they see how their actions really are hugely influenced by environmental factors, rather than purely personality-based ones.

  4. Usually its the first impression that counts. But after you got to know that person, its a different thing

  5. At the risk of sounding judgemental, I do go on first impressions and I am rarely wrong.  I always try to look for the good in people.
