Do you go to Chinese Buffets?

Or have you been to one?... What do you get?... Is the food good or bad?..... Whatever else you may wanna add;)

I personally am from Asia, and I definitely dislike Chinese Buffets. Why? Because the food is too "westernized" and tends to be cold and not fresh. In my opinion, I think you would get your money's worth of food if you go to an actual traditional Chinese restaurant.

Yes. People say that some of the food can be, well, shady, but I think it's fine. I get sesame chicken, white rice, and some noodles with veggies. The food can be really good. Also, a bad thing is that Chinese food isn't very filling and you might be hungry 4 hours later.

ive been to a few here in texas.....and i dont really care too much for them....but i do love a buffet, of any kind..:)

yes.  some are good and others are not.  I'm simple... i like the beef and broccoli w/egg drop soup and the fried rice

If you go to one, go to one located in a Asian neighborhood and a lot of Asians are going to it.  They will know which ones are good and are not westernized as one poster mentioned.  As a tip, walk by all the stations to see what food is being offered (most will let you look before you decide that you want to eat there).  You will also find that the stations where the good stuff are probably at the end or in the back so you fill up on the cheap stuff up front.  I have to watch my weight nowadays so I avoid all you can eat buffets.

I have never been and would not go since I really don't like to eat so much food at once so I don't think I would get my monies worth.

Only when I have to.  I personally don't like them.  But most of my family does.  I find the food to be too "Americanized."

I like them very much.If u r in New York try To-Dai a few blocks from Penn Station.Food is very fresh with a very large seafood selection
