  1. I have tomatoes, chillis, little gem lettuce, cauliflower and beetroot growing at the minute. Is my first attempt so I wasnt too optimistic but they are doing very well

  2. I plan to in the future.

  3. no

  4. I am The Anti-Green Thumb but I've tried to grow some things. I've tried growing tomatoes and strawberries but failed miserably.  I know quite a few gardner's. The president of Animal Advocates here has given me some of her fruits. I usually just go to the local farmers market. It's easier for me.

  5. yeah its really funny to think i would do it..i grow tomatoes strawberries, sweet peppers and radishes spring onions and runner beans most of which i grow from a cheap grow bag me and my daughter love it (im 30 she's 10)we even go out every day on bug patrol..squishing blackfly and tossing slugs over the fence!its so easy.

  6. yes grow tomato's

  7. i really enjoy growing my own veggies and herbs i grew up on a large farm where we sold veggies and fruits so i love it reminds me of home when i bite into fresh green beans my problem though is i live in a small apartment with a balcony i am going to start a container garden one day  pots are just so expensive

  8. i grow tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, squash, cucumbers, basil, hot peppers, and bell peppers

  9. Yes - cherries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, plums, spring onions, radishes, tomatoes and potatoes - and believe it or not, this is all in a back yard 15 feet by 15 feet in central London ! ! !

  10. I don't but I'm extremely jealous of people who have the space and soil to do it.  I live in an apartment with concrete all around, so I'm not able to grow anything.

I rely on some friends to bring me lemons or oranges from their backyards.

I think if I had a garden I would plant all sorts of things: tomato, cucumber, bell pepper (capsicum), avocado tree, carrot, celery, basil, dill, onions, chives, oregano, mint, lime/lemon tree, etc.

Of course, my ideal garden would be a veganic one.  No manure, chemical fertilizer, bloodmeal, or other animal derived fertilizer.

  11. my grandad grows tomatoes cucumber's and potatoes

  12. We used to have a greenhouse. Last year I grew some tomatoes- and everyone loved them.

I have also tried growing Jalapeno chillies- they are really quite special! They turned out really well, you just treat them like tomatoes- lots of sunlight and water. Marrows grow really fast, they just swell up so fast it's unbelieveable! This year I don't have any plans to grow any fruit or veg though.

  13. Yes, I only have a small garden but grow plenty,, so far this year, potatoes, tomatoes, cuccumbers, strawberrys peas, lettice blueberries, peppers, and for the winter just started cabbages cauliflowers runner beans and onions.  all from seed

  14. Yes, we have a greenhouse where we grow tomatoes, peppers, basil. also a small veg plot with peas, lettuce, onions and courgettes.  We get so excited when you come home from work after a really hot day and loads of things have grown! (sad i know)

  15. Yeah, my parents grow veggies.  Tomatoes, Spinach, Potatoes, Lettuce, etc.

  16. I have a cherry tomato plant and a regular tomato plant. I love having fresh tomatoes for my salads and sandwiches!

  17. Yes I do. I am currently growing 3 varieties of tomatoes, jalapenos, habaneros, cayennes, and banana peppers, as well as cilantro and dill. I'd grow more but there's only so much room in a city lot and I want to keep a nice lawn too.

At the end of the growing season I take all of the remaining peppers and smoke them over mesquite wood, dehydrate them and turn them into powder to use as seasoning.

  18. My next door neighbour's raspberry canes are growing through into my garden, and we also have an apple tree.
