Do you guys/gals believe that Tropicana Field can be filled up during the Postseason?

In the last two games they barely had around 15,000 in attendance. I've never seen them have a crowd above 25,000, do you think that there will be sellouts if the Rays make the playoffs?

  1. Yes i have noticed because they are playing the angels i have been watching the games and there arent that many people! I mean this is a good team, with good pitching. It isn't fair that they aren't getting as much support :(

I remember when they were playing against boston there were a quite a lot of people. hmm i hope people come to support them. I think if they make postseason (i hope they do) the stadium would be filled up.

  2. Maybe a lot of fans from the visiting team will travel to the games because playoffs are such a big deal. then again, maybe they'll pay homeless people to sit in the outfield seats to avoid the embarrassment of an empty stadium in October.

  3. OF COURSE

  4. Possibly but it won't sup rise me if its fans of the other team or bandwagon fans who all of a sudden know who the team is after pretending they didn't exist.

  5. Don't think so as they dont have a large number of fans

  6. Not sure and I don't care as long as I have a seat.

  7. Yes, they will sell out.

  8. Yeah, why not?

Now, a very small percentage there will actually be REAL Ray fans, but it's probable that Tropicana will sell out.

  9. Hope so. They may get some of the run-off from the Orlando crowd.

  10. If the team can't fill the stadium when they're having the season they have now, they're certainly not going to do it if they make the post season. Tampa is about the last place that should have a ML team. The only reason they can't move is that ridiculous lease they signed with the stadiuim.

  11. Let's see, it's October, it's Florida, and the Gators, Seminoles, Hurricanes, USF Bulls, UCF Knights, various black-college teams, Buccaneers, Dolphins and Jaguars are all playing... I think we're looking at an Atlanta Braves situation here, where their only chance at a sellout is visiting fans.
