Do you guys remember Lilia Podkopayeva of the 1996 olympics? Remember her dazzling floor routine?

She was from Ukraine and won the ladies' all-round title that year. She was briefly mentioned last night during the ladies' all-around competition. Nastia Liukin had a great floor routine, but in my mind, no one has come close to the artistic beauty of Lilia on the floor exercise. Lilia's floor routine looked like a ballet performance. It was simply amazing.

Yep, I remember her.  Don't you wish that people were more like her nowadays?  Gymnasts now don't bother themselves with artistry and dance.  Instead it's all about difficult tricks and points.
