i hate them because they get all the media all the attention they are filthy rich all there players get away with murder(one might have been at one for all we know) and they still cannot win a flag,they should be the most dominant team of the last 150yrs but they are hopeless.they are a sad sad excuse for a team.they should be the chelsea or manchester united of the afl....if they could win something.and one flag way back 1990 i think it was does not count so all the dreamers control your anger

I like your initiative. It seems when someone talks about Collingwood or Carlton, they end up talking about the other club as well!

Collingwood don't bother me as much as Carlton, Freo and Sydney do, Barry is a d*******! and yes i mentioned Carlton.

I don't hate any team as much as i love my eagles!

I don't hate collingwood as much as i prob should. i dont like their whole "we're not changing our jumper bullshit". I hate essendon and adelaide the most though.

i pretty much dont like any1 that beats the lions.. (almost evry1 at the moment)

I've heard Collingwood is such a rough area that

whenever I'm in Melbourne I stay clear of dives

like that.

I curtail my activities to the Fitzroy strip - a bit

more up-market than Collingwood.

As a "non-feral" Collingwood supporter, it confuses me as to why we're so hated amongst the football public in general. Surely all teams have their "feral" supporters, and accusations of arrogance and elitism have little foundation in reality. It seems, to me, to be tradition. Having someone to hate, regardless of their - or your teams - status in the game gives people hope that they/their team isn't absolutely hopeless.

Oh, and why do people hate Eddie McGuire? Is it just his personality? He seems nice, friendly, a bit of a dag but kinda funny, and really passionate about his footy club.

People throw the word 'hate' around far too much.

Nope! Actually one of my favourite clubs - love their players yet....hate the coach..he walked out on west coast..yet he did coach them to 2 premierships..so it is a bit hard to hate him i guess.

The main reason i like collingwood is coz of their players - such as cloake (hottie.) pendulbry, thomas,  medhurst, waeklin, davis etc.

But outside of the players and them on the footy field i dislike them, i dont like eddie mguire and stuff liek that. And the recent alan didak etc. incident dont help...

There are four teams I absolutely cannot stand..... They would be..... Freo, Port, Crows and surprise surprise.... Collingwood!!! Can't tell u why.... I just really dislike them!!!

I rest my case by just pointing out that poster Rogue GO PIES makes a comment about me in just about every post she makes. She follows me about & is totally & overwhelmingly obssessed with the fact.

Sorry Asterisk to get sidetracked but that is the main reason why I dislike Collingwood. She is trying to run me out of the section & it just ain't gunna work.
