  2. Yes.

  3. Yes and no. I have been a poster on those boards for over two years, and I will miss the old format. Bu they won't be gone for long. What I won't miss is the stupid trolls. They're the ones to blame for all this. They got way to out of hand with there childish nonsense.

  4. Nope, I don't. Because I am Dana.

As for the group, I know nothing

    about it.

  5. HATE... there are very few things/people that I hate. The more you try to understand all aspects of anything the less you'll HATE.

Disappointed... that is a better word. Yahoo had an excellent format with their message boards. If you're offended by a poster you could always just use the ignore button. Wow... the ability to not let another person control you with the tools at hand (including a stable mind).

The sad fact is that this world coddles to the weak and rewards the lazy (mentally and socially). It seems these days that everything can be fine for the vast majority of people but the whining minority seems to win out far too often. It can be summed up with the analogy of why there are so many frivolous lawsuits... because there are so many lawyers.

  6. do you have a life outside of the laundromat??

  7. Not really. Cause if there is a specific topic or category you want to discuss, you can easily create a group in Yahoo Groups. From there, you can post as many messages as you want.

  8. No.

Hey, with freedom comes responsibility.  Something many posters forgot.  There were times when thoughtful insight was given.  I would say for every 10"troll" posts you would get an informative one.  Was fun while for a time.

    Hmmm?

  9. Yes.  Along with freedom of speech comes the annoyance of having to listen to speech that we might view as trivial or ignorant or worse.  After a while, one learns to filter through the messages and not even open the one where the subject line includes "Al Gore invented...", or "Nigs...", or "I'm shaking my...in anger".

The worst part of the way that Yahoo has handled this is that as of now (12.20.06) the old board is inaccessible, and the new format is not up yet.   Thus, all speech is muted.

I don't see why an organization like Yahoo? couldn't keep the old format discussion boards, and add new format boards that would co-exist.  It would be similar to the old email, and the Beta-version email -- the user could decide which to use, or switch back and forth.

Anyway, speaking of switching, has anyone seen all the great things over at Google?

  10. No, I do not

  11. SHOOT YAHOO! EXECS IN TEMPLES!! IN MOUTHS!!

SEE THIS PIG/SCUM PNAC SUCKING FREEDOM SQUELCHERS IN CHURCH?  HOW REVILING!!!

SHOOT THEM IN THEIR PIG MOUTHS!
