I used to but now I see where I was in it all having 'shoulds and oughts' and not being  down to earth. My partner has mental health problems and is gentle warm and loving and if he doesn't do some things that others can do thats good enough and I can encourage him by telling him what I like - He doesn't withold out of 'badness' there will always be a reason.  

I think for me in the old days I was keeping score - now I don't keep a tab and life is much simpler and 'enough'.
