Do you hate the Registry of Motor Vehicles?

In Massachusetts, it's called the RMV, not the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV; don't know why). So anyway, I go to the RMV to renew my license. I take a ticket to wait. I must've waited for at least 1 hour to finally go up to one of the ladies behind the window. I kid you not: the entire staff is JUST OLD WOMEN. So I go to lady to renew my license: I have my SS number, my ID, EVERYTHING...Or so I thought: she says that my signature "Isn't official". What the h**l? Apparently they expect that your signature is EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE ONE ON YOUR OLD LICENSE AND ON EVERY OTHER ONE TOO. So I have to go home and bring in a void check to show my EXACT looking signature like the one on my old license: I wait ANOTHER hour...She says that the bank's logo is not "official". What THE h**l!! I demand to see the administrator at this point and after a whole number of arguing I finally get my new license with new photo, age, and all. However, I notice that they spelt my name wrong...I run back into the RMV and ask for a change, but they tell me to take ANOTHER ticket to wait in line for another hour...Are you kidding me? The service sucks here in Massachusetts! I hate the RMV!

  1. True Story:

I was behind a fellow in line at DMV.  His turn, and he asks the girl if they send them to NASTY school for a month.  The girl said no, it's only for two weeks.

    HAHA!

  2. Yeah, I heard it sucked in Massachusetts. I mean, it sucks everywhere, but especially in Massachusetts.

  3. Not only does the average person detest the DMV, but the people who work there hate working there. This is why it is such a pleasant time for all.
