Do you hate to shop at Wal-mart but still go?

I like one stop shopping. Orlando is a crazy city and it takes time to get to anywhere due to traffic. But every time I was there I simply can't take the crying babies, running around kids, customer sampling fruits and most of all the crowds on the weekend. Also I noticed there are more obese customers in Wal-mart than in any other stores.....not a nice view to see while shopping... :(

  1. Yes, I hate going to Wal-Mart. Mine has a McDonald's in it too. Anyway, I rarely go to Walmart, but every time that I do, I ALWAYS spend more money than I planned on, because the prices & variety are so great.

The sad things is, I just heard that now my town (Simi Valley, CA) is dumping KMART & adding a Super Target. So we'll have Walmart, Target, Super Target all in the same city ...a SURE way to drive all of the small mom & pop businesses out of town. I think that my city is losing it's "small town" appeal.

  2. My Wal-Mart is great and clean BUT the lines are ALWAYS too long. I think if they open up all the lanes instead of a few of them they will increase business efficiency. Other than that I have no problems with Wal-Mart.

  3. Wal-Mart is the root of all evil, but I guess we're all on the highway to h**l!

  4. If you understood the gravity of their impact on small towns, small business owners, and the business ethic of the corporation and the family, you would never step inside one again.

  5. Yeah, it's really gross at Wal*Mart, everything is sticky and dirty!

  6. Yep....my thoughts exactly.  Walmart can actually be a rather pleasant place, though, at about 2 am.  It's when I do all my shopping there.  You have all the time to linger at your leisure and only the guy with the scrubby thing cleaning the aisles to worry about.

  7. YES. This was a topic at work. It's so ghetto, but it's convenient, that's why we still shop there. I prefer Target, because it's more upscale and not dirty and riddled with white trash morbidly obese yokels who act like they live there.  Sometimes I have to bite the bullet and go to Walmart when Target doesn't have what I need or a Target isn't nearby.  You think it's crazy on the weekend? Out here in the inland empire (southern california) it's crowded 24/7. These people never leave.  Does yours have a McDonalds or a Weinershnitzel? It's nuckin' futz.
