Do you hate when a hotel uses flat sheets and tucks the blanket in?

Usually, they tuck two flat sheets, the blanket, and the bedspread under the mattress. When you pull the blanket out, the whole mess comes out including the sheet you want to sleep on?

I agree 100%.  Fitted bottom sheets should be mandatory in every hotel.  I especially hate it if I toss and turn during the night and everything comes undone and I wake up sleeping on the matress pad!  YUK!

Yes, that's long been a pet peeve of mine. You have to remake the whole bed, and a normal night's sleep untucks the flat bottom sheet no matter what you do.

FWIW, I'm starting to see higher-priced hotels using elastic-edged fitted bottom sheets, some of them anyway. I stayed at a hotel that did on Friday night.
