I had a baby 11 months ago and I still hate my belly... is not the quantity that I'm worried about is the quality... I lost weight, and I know that with a lil' bit of exercise it'll get better, but I HATE IT... and i know it'll never be the same as before not even close, I had a very flat stomach, and I used to weight around 115-120, Now I weight like 128 but still hate my belly =( i guess surgery will be my only way out !

  1. Yes!! I had my daughter 10 weeks ago and am over my jelly belly!! I knew i would still have a tummy once she was born but didnt think it would be like this. As they say 9 months up 9 months down

  2. Oh boy do I feel your pain. I am 10 weeks PP and not even close to pre weight. I was 90pounds before and now am at 118. I was 127 at the end of my pregnancy. I know I have a long way to do but with my first pregnancy I weighed less then before I got pregnancy about 15 weeks pp.

What we have to go through to have the joys of motherhood.

  3. ive had three kids and have a proper mummy tummy, ive tried all sorts to get rid of it, but nothing really happens,im not overweight, its just one of them things that happens with having kids, you can either lose it or not. the joys of having kids, but your not alone.

  4. I hate it to. It is gross! I might have one more baby and then I am getting a tummy tuck.

  5. Wait till you have all your children and then consider surgery.  I did after 3 kids and have never been happier.  I got rid of all my stretch marks and my 3 c-section scars.  It cost $7500 but was worth every penny.

  6.   You guys have it easy.  I went from 90 lbs. to 159 lbs. when I had my first baby.  I've had another child since then and my body isn't even recognizable as my own.  I still weigh 125-130 lbs. but it's not even the weight that bothers me.  It's what I like to call "the battle scars"  Gaining way to much weight in that short amount of time really took a toll on my body.  I dream of surgery but doubt I could ever bring myself to do it.

  7. I feel the same way! I still need to lose about twenty pounds, but I don't think that my belly is going to go away even when the weight is gone.

BUT, my son is totally worth it!!

  8. THATS A STRANGE QUESTION.

  9. OH NO!

    don't do surgery!

The same thing happemed to my mother but she lost the wieght!

    So you can to.

    and 128 pounds?

    That's a good weight.

But keep excercising and you'll get to where you want to be.

    But don't overexcercise.

    Hope I helped!

  10. No, I love mine.

Just remember what caused your stomach to be that way. Your beautiful child. Every stretch mark, every wrinkle, all caused by carrying and caring for your child for 9 months.

Just take it easy, and eventually it will repair.

  11. I always hated it. It never mattered how much i weighed, it always looked gross.  It took me 10 years to finally be happy with how I looked and I'm pregnant again.  It's one of the many things that happens to your body because of pregnancy. The child is so worth it though.

  12. I had my son two years ago and am still stuck....Im not overweight but not where Id like to be. Just dont do crunches or any ab exercises. It sounds counterintuitive but the muscles under the belly flab are stretched because the muscles had to accomodate to your growing belly and it takes alot of time if they will ever go back to being flat. My sister in law tried doing crunches after having her first child and it stretched them out more from the strain. they may just be too stretched by this point. Remember that surgery is your choice but you have to be your own advocate in getting the best care and deciding that its right for you. Also, water may help quelch any bloating.
