Do you have Bose computer speakers? Are they worth it?

We're getting another computer soon and are thinking about getting them, since we listen to tons of music on the computer and don't have an actual stereo system.

How is the sound? Is it worth the price? (around $200)

They are SO worth it!  I absolutely love them and don't know how I ever listened to anything else.  If you spend a lot of time listening to music on your computer then definitely spend the extra bucks and get the Bose speakers.  Mine cost $400.00 and I'd love to know where you are getting them for $200.00, but perhaps you are getting the smaller ones.  Either way, BIG sound!  I am going to be buying the noise cancelling headphones to go with them as well.

I don't know about the computer speakers but I went to a Bose demo one time and I was blown away by the sound, it was like you were in a club or bar listening to a band play, it was crazy!

YES they are worth it

BUT

If you plan to mostly listen in headphones

The Bose Speakers cancel out

I have a nice 3-way set up and I listen 99% of the time with speakers and NOT headphones

If mostly in headphones, buy the best headphones and buy $25 speakers

I don't have Bose, but I have Logitech and have had the subwoofer, and two other speakers for almost 5 years now, and they still boom music A-OK!

We have cheap Labtec speakers (two mids and a booster) and they've worked great for 6 years. I love the way they sound. I doubt my husband paid $200 for them! lol but buy what you want... Bose speakers are good, too.

bose rules,i dont know about puter speakers but my computer is plugged into my stereo,if i need quiet i use headphones

  They are worth it, but I wouldn't give them five stars.  I would give them four.  I definitely think they are quite good.  They work very well.  Alright?
