Do you have EWCM even if you don't ovulate?

I know you can ovulate and not have any EWCM, but I'm wondering if it can go the other way around. Do you still see EWCM even if you don't ovulate?

Yes this is possible; EWCM is produced by high levels of estrogen, which can happen at any time in the cycle and at varying degrees. So you can get it at all times. If you're trying to find out (without medical testing) if you're ovulating for sure, consider charting BBTs at http://www.fertilityfriend.com. It's the only real way to know for certain. OPKs might also work, but they're not conclusive like BBTs are. Good luck!

Yes you can, EWCM can also come when you are sexually aroused (its a way for your body to lubricate). Also if you have block in you fallopian tubes your body may be trying to ovulate but the egg may be unable to drop.

If you don't get your period within the next 4 days I would test again, it could be possible that your pregnant but just tested to early or it could be just a late period.

you could be pregnant!  i took a test the day my period was due and got a negative.  then i took it 3 days after my period was due, still a negative, 5 days after i finally got a positive, good luck to you guys and baby dust yur way!
