I need a birthday present for a 10 year old girl. Any ideas? I don't know her well enough to know what she likes and her mom said "anything is fine" when I asked. I don't like to give gift cards. Thanks!

My daughter is ten, and she just had a birthday party. Some of the thing she liked best were dvd's, posters, a makeup box filled with nail polish, polish remover, pedicure and manicure stuff, and lip gloss. She also liked that a friend gave her movie passes so she could go later and take friends.

if she likes peta give her a new pet or maybe she likes fashion so give hera nice outfit or two.But this is one id always want but maybe you dont have enough money but that is a Hanah Monnatanna ticket!

cds girls love music like hannah montana/miley cyrus and thatstuff

runescape membership if she's allowed to play runescape 5$ a month

Magazines like J-14, Miley Mania, Twist

Movies, if she likes anime and is allowed to watch PG-13 hers some good anime- Princess Monoke, spirited away, howl's moving castle,

Books. I read 'the dragon of lonley island' and 'Harry potter' they are both good

There ask her if she likes that stuff...

10 years old girl wow u have allot of option's . hmm will buying a new shoes will be nice. go to the mall and buy a pink small bag and put inside it ( pink gloss and perfume ) put them all in one box she will be happy

PS: of course ask for a little girls gloss and perfume

I wouldn't go with a CD or DVD - if she already has it, a duplicate will be useless. I advise the craft kit (my daughter is just 11, and someone gave her a "make your own jewellry" kit for nice jewellry, not just bead threading, which she loved).

Go somewhere like Michaels or the Rag Shop and get an arts and crafts kit. Potholder kits are the best too!

My sister is 9 and she loves Hannah Montana. She just likes anything girly. She loves Webkinz too. I know that gift cards may seem impersonal, but I love getting them. You can get WHATEVER you want from a store, which is perfect for a 10 year old who might be picky. My sister loves getting gift cards. So, maybe you could get her a less expensive gift along with a gift card. I also think that most girls are crafty, so you could go to a craft store and get her a kit from there.

My niece is 11. Girls are easy to buy for. I'd get her a compilation CD, photo frame, cute pyjamas, lip gloss, kids scrap booking kit, cheap jewellery like a bangle, necklace or earrings if she has pierced ears. I don't know where you are but in Australia there are stores called GAS (girls accessory store). You can pretty much buy anything in there and it will be fine.

What is she interested in? I suggest you ask the mother again what she is interested in. My daughter is almost 11 but I'm afriad she isn't interested in many of the things other girls her age are. She has skipped two grades in school and is in eigth grade right now (she will be a freshman in highschool in September at 11 years old) Not all kids are alike they all have their own interests.

Go to the craft store and get her something she can make. Ten year olds like things they can personalize, and the store will have a whole bunch of kids crafts ideas. Good luck.

Simple craft kits, anything Hannah Montana or High School Musical, a gift certificate to somewhere like a zoo or museum, Barbie dolls and accessories, board games...

Ten is a difficult age. Is she more like a little girl or more like a "tween"? You'll have to take that into consideration when you decide.
