I am trying to buy some stuff for my niece in Brazil....I Love Her, My favorite Niece By far=)....Anyways I have no idea what size would be good. So I was hoping to get an average then go up a size incase it doesn't fit she'll grow into it, instead of it possibly being to small=)

  1. probably age 5-6 depends how small or big they are as my daughter is 4 but is in 5-6 which are perfect on the leg as shes tall but slightly to big round the waist as shes quite slim so if shes average height and build for a five year old then like i said before go with 5-6 if not sure go for 7-8 she will always grow into the clothes

  2. My daughter wears a 6 and she is 5 not t because that is toddler size

My daughter wears a 12 in most shoes but sometimes she can wear a 13

  3. Girls who are five usually wear size 5, although they may be moving into size 6.   Small, slender, girls may still fit into a 4, but usually 4 is too short for even small five year olds.

Chances are size 6 would be a size she's headed into soon, although if she's a bigger girl she may be headed into a 7.

Unless she's super tall/big, its really unlikely she'd be wearing an 8 in the near future.

  4. On average you'd probably want to go with a 5.  But it's better to ask the parents.  My daughter will be five soon and she's still in a 3; and on the other end of the spectrum there are going to be kids who are already in a 6 or 7 at age 5.  It's kind of like buying pants for an adult woman if you don't know her size.  Odds are you're going to get it wrong if you don't ask.

  5. my daughter at age 5 was a size 5, shoes a 10

  6. my daug just turned 6, she wears 11 size shoe....id go a size up and she wears 5-6 in clothes....not t's, thats toddler size. go to jcpenneys and go to little girls sizes.

  7. Depends on the child. My boys always wore a size bigger then their age. When they were 2 they wore 3. But with my daughter and most average size girls, they can wear the size that matches there age. If she is 5, I would buy a 6 so that she can grow into it. A 5 might fit perfect or be too small, unless she is tiny. From the picture, I'd 100% say a 6.

Anyways, go with a 6. Oh and get the pants/shorts with the tightning system inside. No matter what her waist size is, she can adjust the pants to fit her. We use to buy belts and fold pants down, but now I will not buy a pair of pants that do not have one in them. Oh, you might be safer if you buy a cute summer dress.

  8. I have a four year old daughter. She wears a size 4T.

Your niece is adorable! I think you could get her a size 5T in toddlers or a 4/6 in the girl's section.

  9. She looks slim but tall like my younger daughter.  I always had trouble finding clothes to fit her right.  Try a size 6x or 7 girls.  My son whom is five wears a size ten boys.  All children are different.  But from the looks of her try the sizes I mentioned 6x or 7.  She may need a belt though.  You should buy her one that is very adjustable.  She is adorable...
