Do you have a back and/or front porch swing? If not do you wish you did?

We have a swing on our front porch. I love it. We have a wrap-around porch so we have a couple rocking chairs and a bistro set out there too, and my husband and I love to sit out there in the mornings for breakfast while our sons play. It's so relaxing...I dread when winter comes and we can't sit out for a couple of months!

Actually I have a funny story. I have a back porch swing and and I push my kids on it like a little swing. One day I was laying on it reading a book very relaxed while the kids were doing their thing next to me when all of the sudden my 5 year old daughter madelyn came behind me and pushed the swing so hard I FLEW off the swing and fell down the porch steps. I luckily didn't really get hurt. A few cuts and bruises but no broken bones or  stitches. I remember my kids were all laughing so hard. haha, good times.

No not now, But it's a good thing. wish I did have one. Nothing like swinging your days cares away on the porch with a cool breeze blowing. Oh, what a life.

Oh, I'd love to have one of those big, old Victorian like porches!  Matter of fact, when it's time to replace the front porch on our home, we're making it much bigger!  I think large porches make the house look so much better!  And there is nothing that beats a cool, shady porch with some comfy chairs or a swing, a good book and a cold drink on a hot day!
