Do you have a belly ring?

Do you have your belly button pierced? Why? And did it hurt when it was done? I wanna do it. I just wouldn't know what to expect if i got it done. Oh and how old were you when you got it done?

I wish I had mine pierced, because they are really cute. But my mom wont let me because she says they are S****y and that I'm too young, and I need a 'flat tummy', and apparently I dont have one.... *sigh*

I got my belly pierced, just because i wanted it. I thought it would look cute because i have a flat stomach. It didn't really hurt much and if it does it's just for like 5 seconds. I was about 13 or 14 when i got it done. I still have it but barely show it off. I recommend it if you know you can be responsible and take care of it. There is really nothing to be nervous or afraid about.

i have my belly pierced. i got it pierced because i wanted to get it pierced. no it didn't hurt. i was 13 !!

I got my bellybutton pierced a few years ago, I had had a surgery early in highschool and I wanted to make my bellybutton cute again. It didn't hurt when it was pierced, but standing up and sitting down for the next couple days were pretty bad from what I remember. I was 18.

Don't listen to the people whining about how it's a fad, it's been a "fad" for a long time now and if you want it, go for it. Live for today.

I ended up taking mine out because I am prone to infection and it started angling to one side, but YES it DOES close up! Mine is completely closed up after not having it for 2 years, I don't remember exactly when it closed up though. I have a tiny little scar, but it is way smaller than the scar from my surgery something like 7 years ago, and nobody will ever notice it unless they are looking for it. When you are old, the last thing people will be looking for is places where you might've had piercings in your youth

No, but sometimes I get a ring on my butt if I am long on the toilet.

Seriously, don't get all those fad piercings and/or tattoos.  The day is coming when you will wish you hade nothing except one small hole in each ear.

No, I think they're kinda ugly. Besides, they don't ever close up, so you still have it when you're really old and stuff.

I don't think you should get it done, because it looks kinda stupid. It probably would hurt too. Get your ears pierced instead.

yes i have my bellybutton pierced , i got it done because it was cute & i wanted to pierce something . haha .

it didn't hurt , they numb the skin . it feels like a pinch , it's not bad at all . & i'm fourteen & got mine done a few months ago .

yea! i got my belly pierced because it's super cute and i love shiny things lol. i'd say go for it. it really doesn't hurt so much as it pinches, but it's not even very noticeable. i was 14 when i got the upper part of my belly button pierced and then got the lower part done when i turned 16 last year. be careful for cheer tho that you wait till the offseason to get pierced. i can tell you from experience that keeping it open but uninfected is a real ***** while on the squad.
