Gracie calls me to the window

turns to me and says,

“there’s a squirrel

playing chicken

in the middle of the road”

“I want to egg him on

but I also want the toad

sitting next to the squirrel

in the middle of the road”

Sounds like the road presents a variable smorgasbord of delectable edibles. Gracie must be prevented (or informed) about the possibility of "flat" things that also can appear on the road.  I hope she is not in danger. I worry about animals and roads ♥

Thankfully it wasn't a dead skunk in the middle of the road.

You sure the squirrel wasn't filming a Geico commercial? I never quite got how they trained them to do the little hand slap things...maybe that's why the toad...I'm so confused.

But, I do envy Gracie the lounge time in the window.

My (mostly) feral cats are all delusional.  But then, it's been my observation that most cats ARE delusional sometimes.

May I borrow your squirrel?  We, alas, unfortunately have none.
