  1. Hello,

Two kids diagnosed, and I am diagnosed.

One child no meds for this, ever.

One kid and I on the horrible drugs for a while and nothing I did better then stopping the drugs. Both of us are off the ADHD drugs.

Strattera (sp) was are doctors drug of choice for us, two of us have seizures here and the other children are predisposed to them.

This drug was horrible, can not say that enough!!

Your child does not need drugged up, however you as a  parent have to put your child first and change some things in your life if you want a drug free, healthy child. Speed is what is given to most people with this. They add more chemicals, more or less of this or that, slap another name on it then "speed" and sell it to miss informed parents.

Be wise about your next step, drugs, no drugs.

    Wish you and yours well!

  2. no...but I have a husband with ADHD! He wasnt diagnosed until he was 25, which was very difficult growing up. If you have a child with ADHD, make sure he is diagnosed with an ADHD specialist...not just a 13 question yes/no checklist from your PCP. THere are many many ways of managing an ADHD child, and the more tools you use you may not need medication...although it really does help, my husband is on adderall and prozac and it helps significantly.

  3. I might have ADHD cause I'm Hyper alot and I can't pay attention in school....I don't know if I have it or not. But yes good butt woopin helps.

  4. I have ADD and I'm 13. I know I can be obnoxious at times but we all appreciate some slack everynow and then. It makes me feel really good when my mom is proud of me.

  5. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is often noticed and diagnosed when children are at school .... teachers experience the child being disruptive, has little or no attention span, gets bored easily, can't sit still for long, can sometimes be abusive and/or violent ......

It's (generally) when a teacher brings these behaviours to the attention of specialists that the child is recommended for testing - to see what level they are actually functioning at and what symptoms they display that match recognised behaviours .... in England Ritalin is a favoured drug for use with ADHD children, initially administered at a certain level of dose and monitored for about three months, then modified according to how the child responds ..... my experience is that it makes a huge difference to the child in that they become calmer, substantially less agitated, far more passive within a class environment, learn to play and interact with their peers and adults better  ..... they generally appear to be extremely intelligent children whose inability to control their behavioural problems cause them to become very quickly alienated from other children and society.... if you suspect that (depending on your age) you may be an ADHD sufferer then speak with your parents and/or teachers and ask for help (assuming you are a child) .... if you are an adult then speak with your doctor.... if you suspect you have a child with ADHD then speak with the teachers at your child's school and ask for their help and assistance as well as speaking with your own doctor.... ADHD can be controlled and make the sufferer's life so much easier ......

  6. I may have adhd no diagnosis but a good butt whoopin or just working out helps
